Does the student have to be 16 to take this online course?
Yes, the student must be at least 16 years of age to enroll.

Does the student need to have their Learner's Permit to take this course?
No.

How can my teen apply for their Learner's Permit?
They must complete the Non-Commercial Learner’s Permit Application (DL-180). It can be found on the
states website, https://www.penndot.gov

Applicants under age 18 years of age are required to complete the Parent or Guardian Consent Form
(DL-180TD). Notarized forms are accepted if the parent cannot accompany the applicant.

Does this course come with behind-the-wheel instructions?
This course consists of only the classroom phase of the requirements. This online course does not offer driving (the 65-hour Parent/Teen Driving guide).

How is the course broken up?
It consists of 10 modules, 37 quizzes, 10 module tests

Is there an instructor?
The course content is pre-recorded, and students also have access to an online instructor to answer any questions. They are available through email and live chat.

Does the course come with a certificate of completion?
